2018 HOLIDAY CATALOGUE IS NOW LIVE!!!!

The wait is over. I'm guessing at this point you have seen a lot of sneak peeks from the 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday catalogue.

So in answer to your questions, Yes - it is amazing! Yes - there are lots of cute sets, serious set, traditional and non-traditional. Christmas and non Christmas. Something for everyone. No - I have not bought the whole catalogue but very tempted to put another order in.

New stamp sets, new Designer Series Paper, new embellishments and even a new tool.

Take your time and check it out.

As I am sure you can tell if you are a regular reader of my blog, I love Christmas and Christmas crafting. For me, it is the time of the year where I give out the most amounts of cards and like to make personal hand made gifts, so I always look forward to the Holiday Catalogue and new products to play with.

I look forward to seeing what everyone makes with all the new sets.

Happy crafting,
Rosalie - The Lost Stamper

CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE STAMP-A-THON - ONE SHEET WONDER

Welcome to the latest Christmas Challenge Stamp-a-thon.  This is a collaboration between four Stampin' Up! Demonstrators friends. Ruth Trice 'Artful Stampin' from the UK, Denise Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin' from USA, Ellen Woodbridge from Australia and myself. . The Challenge is set on the 25th of the month, each month has a different theme. The challenge this month is to use a one sheet wonder.

One sheet wonders are fast and easy ways to create a number of cards or projects using the one sheet of card stock or DSP. Particularly at Christmas, when we often have little time and have a large number of projects to complete, a one sheet wonder is perfect.

For this challenge I have chosen to use one piece of Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper to create my projects. Out of one sheet I made 7 cards.

The card bases are created from half A4 sheers of Real Red, Early Expresso, Old Olive and Shaded Spruce card stock.

The sentiments and decorations come from the Peaceful Noel Stamp Set (which is a sneak peek from the upcoming 2018 Holiday catalogue which is available to customers from the 5th September).

A little ribbon and some bling, and you are done.

For further details on this project, please see the video attached.

One sheet wonder templates are readily available, so you should be able to locate one to suit your needs, or you can make your own as I did.

If you would like to join us in the challenge or would like some inspiration from other people's entries, you will find the Christmas Challenge Stampaton 2018 on facebook.

Happy crafting,

Rosalie

Welcome to the latest Ink and Inspiration blog hop. You are currently visiting Rosalie Desmond from AUSTRALIA. I hope you enjoy this months project. Our theme for this month is - a sneak peek of products from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue, which goes live on the 5th September.

This month I have decided to make some Christmas gift boxes.

For this project I am giving you a sneak peak of the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper and the Peaceful Noel Stamp Set. As a bonus, I have also used Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible Ribbon. This ribbon is amazing!

The copper elements on this paper pack is a stand out. It was a perfect combination with the reversible ribbon and the copper embossing powder.

I hope you enjoy the blog hop and gain lots of inspiration.

2018-2019 ANNUAL CATALOGUE LAUNCH

On the weekend I had my first ever catalogue launch.

The launch gave some of my customers a chance to not only get the new Annual Catalogue into their hands but gave them an opportunity to see and touch some of the new products in person.

We played a few games, formulated wish lists, admired the catalogue, had some laughs and everyone went home with a prize from the new catalogue.

I displayed a few sample projects from some of the suites  so everyone could get some ideas of how the products could work for them.

We even had a couple of make and takes, because we can't talk about a crafting catalogue without actually doing some crafting, right??

Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Rosalie

RETIFORM SCRAPBOOKING

Sometimes we have a photo that screams to be made into a pretty scrapbooking page. I have always loved this picture. It was the first family picture after our daughter was born - almost 12 years ago.

For this page I have used a technique called retiform. To create the panels I used Crumb Cake to give the boarders of each segment. I then used random stamps from Beautiful Bouquet in create the background 12"x12", using Perfect Plum, Lemon Lime Twist and Flirty Flamingo.

I used inspiration for this 12"x12" scrapbooking page from an earlier project were I used retiform. Click here to see.

Measurements:

Very Vanilla Scrapbooking Background Page 12"x12"
Perfect Plum Photo Mat 11.5 x 16.5cm
Lemon Lime Twist Photo Mat 10.5 x 15.5cm
Scraps Very Vanilla  and Lemon Lime Twist for embellishments
