WASHI WEDNESDAY #8
Welcome once again to Washi Wednesday. I hope you have been enjoying this series as much as I have. Today I have a 3D project for you - a Curvy Keepsake Bunny ready for Easter.
As you can see I used the Pop of Pink washi to add a little texture and interest to the bunny's nose and inside its ears. Sometimes a little washi is all we need.
Thank you for stopping by today,
Rosalie

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Bibi Cameron
Time sure does fly, its time for another Crazy Crafters Blog Hop. Today we have the lovely Bibi Cameron joining us. For those of you that don't know, Bibi is a demonstrator from the UK. She not only has a blog for us to gain inspiration from but also has a YouTube channel in which she often shares tutorials and ideas. Thanks Bibi.
You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Rosalie Desmond or may have come from the person previous to me. Be sure to click on the person listed under me further down the page to continue your journey on this blog hop.
With so many projects to choose from, it was hard to decide which project I would focus on. One blog entry did stand out for me, a card she entered into a sketch challenge with TGIF using the Fairy Celebration stamp set. Bibi used aqua painters to water colour the image. Absolutely beautiful as you can see below.
Sometimes when we CASE, we are taken in whole new direction. This was one of those times.
My project today does not use water colour, nor does it use washi tape. It's not even a card.
So you may ask yourself, how was I inspired?
One of the elements that stood out for me when I looked at Bibi's card, was the pop of red on the cherries. I used this element and based today's project around it.
To create my box I simply cut out the box using my Big Shot. Stamped using versamark and heat embossed the image in Copper. I used a Real Red Stampin' Write marker to colour the cherries. Then I glued the box together and added some Real Red ribbon to make a bow on the handle.
Quick, simple but yet effective!
I just love these cute little boxes. Great for any occasion and so simple to put together.

Crazy Crafters Stampin' Up! Blog Hop October- Case a Project from Pintrest
Thanks for joining The Crazy Crafters team blog hop for October. This months focus is on Case a Project from Pintrest. I choose to CASE some cards from Laura Britten from Stamping with Laura Jane. She used the Get Your Santa On stamp set from the current holiday catalogue to make a set of 3x3 cards. These cards are so simple, yet so cute.
I used her ideas and then took inspiration from there and came up with these.
Firstly, I made a couple of 3x3 cards. I hadn't made cards this size before. So super easy and they could always be used as gift tags if needed.
From there I decided to make a couple of regular sized cards.
Then I thought I really needed some cute little boxes to go with them. Love, love, love the Curvy Keepsake Box, so out it came again. I've seen these boxes made into cute little punch art characters and made out of DSP, but I do love them stamped to match cards. For me it's all about co-ordination.
I hope you enjoy our October Blog Hop.
