CRAZY CRAFTERS BLOG HOP WITH SARAH FLEMING

Welcome once again to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop. This time we are CASEing (Copying And Selectively Editing) any project that has been created by Sarah Fleming. Make sure you take the time after the hop to check out her blog. Thank you for joining us today Sarah. We hope that you find today's blog hop inspirational.

You may just of started here at my blog- Rosalie Desmond or you may of come from the previous person. Be sure to click on the person under me, which is listed further down the page to continue on with the hop.

Sarah's creations are amazing, so I found it rather difficult to choose a project to CASE. Here are the projects Sarah inspired.

The background I created is very simple to recreate. This video shows you how I made it.

This is the card where I took my inspiration from. I adore the fun background that Sarah created, so I just couldn't go past this card. Many of Sarah's creations involve layers both stamped and card stock, so I knew combining these was a must for this CASE.

I took inspiration from the gorgeous spotty background that Sarah created. As unfortunate as it is, I also needed a Get Well Card, so I used the Healing Hugs Stamp Set.

With the design of this card I was able to change the theme by changing the sentiment. I found that using the sentiment from Stitched All Around.

By changing the colours, the whole look of the card changes as well.

Make sure that you visit all the other blogs in today's hop to gain lots of ideas for your future crafting.

Happy hopping,

STAMPIN' DREAMS BLOG HOP - LOVE THEME

Welcome to the monthly Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. This month's theme is LOVE. You are currently visiting Rosalie Desmond from Australia. I hope you like my card.

I used the heart stamp in this set to create a boarder inside the card.

The moment I saw the Bird Banter stamp set I knew I wanted to make the Buggies into love bird silhouettes. I love it when I look at a set and instantly have ideas and in this case I am happy with the results.

Once I stamped the two bird images out, I then used the Basic Black Stampin' Write marker to colour the inside of the image. A nice and simple way to create a different look with stamps.

And they lived happily ever after...

When we think of marriage, we think of romance. What is more romantic, than sitting next to your love watching the sunset together. With that thought in mind, I made this card to celebrate an upcoming wedding.

I used old olive, daffodil delight and tangerine tango to create my sunset scene. I used the sentiments from Big News and the couple and love hearts from Beautiful Ride.

Today's blog post will be a featured project on Kylie Bertucci's International Stampin' Up!  Blog Highlight  from 6.30pm AEDT. If you like my project, please follow the link and vote for me. Don't forget to check out the other amazing projects from crafters all over the world.

CASE a Crazy Crafter - Carolina Evans

So the other day I was saying that I was "creatively dead". I just had nothing in me and no project excited me, not even our trusty Pinterest. Yep, I was in that crafting rut.

Anyway the lovely Carolina Evens said "CASE one of my projects!", and this is where my idea for CASE a Crazy Crafter began. So my plan is to choose one Crazy Crafter every Monday and CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit).

This is Carolina's amazing project that inspired me today.

After looking at Carolina's card I was inspired to make a couple of cards.

The first can either be used for a birthday, wedding or even an anniversary. I tried not to make it girly or flowery so it can be given to either gender or a couple.

I used small silver brads to give it some extra sparkle without making it feminine. The sentiment is also heat embossed in black to give it a special look.

My second card, a birthday card, once more I have tried to give it a gender neutral look.

This time I heat embossed the sentiment in silver and added some silver thread (the same as Carolina used but in silver) to add a little something.

Hope you drop by next Monday to see which Crazy Crafter I will CASE. Thanks for stopping by,
