Be inspired every month with our Christmas Challenge.

Using non-traditional colours is so much fun. You can colour co-ordinate with your home décor, with your Christmas colour theme, or do as I have, and choose colours you think will work nicely together. The choices are endless.

This month I was inspired to create these cards.

On this card I used Daffodil Delight, Berry Burst and Tangerine Tango.

This card I sponged Tempting Turquoise, Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay.

I hope you choose to join us in the Challenge.

INK & INSPIRATION BLOG HOP - INSPIRATIONAL PICTURE

Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Rosalie Desmond from AUSTRALIA. I hope you enjoy my project that has been inspired by a lovely picture of a Peony flower.

This is the picture that I took inspiration from.

Not only did I utilised the image of the flower but I also used the colour combination to create my card.

I stamped the Peony Flower from the You've Got This stamp set in powder pink to create a background. The main flower image was coloured using blender pens with powder pink, melon mambo and then daffodil delight in the centre. I used an oval piece vellum to place the main focal flower on to soften the image and allow the background to still show through.

I hope the projects you've seen here on my blog today have inspired you & brightened your day. You are currently visiting (your name). Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You don't want to miss any!

CRAZY CRAFTERS BLOG HOP WITH TANYA BOSER

Welcome once again to a Crazy Crafters Blog Hop. This time we are CASEing (Copy And Selectively Edit) any project that has been created by Tanya Boser. It's so lovely to have Tanya joining us today, her work is absolutely amazing. You should check out her blog. We hope you find great inspiration from todays projects.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Rosalie Desmond or may have come from the person previous to me. Be sure to click on the person listed under me further down the page to continue your journey on this blog hop.

I loved looking at Tanya's blog for something to CASE, however it did make it very difficult to only choose one! I absolutely love her work. Here is what I was inspired to make.

I took a lot of inspiration from Tanya but then put my own twist on it.

I decided that I would emboss in Copper, so that the floral image I chose from the Wood Words stamp set would stand out.

I did use the colours exact colours Tanya used - Emerald Envy, Dapper Denim  and Lemon Lime Twist. They look so different on Whisper White rather than the Glossy Paper in Tanya's creation.

Measurements:

Whisper White Card Base 29.6 x 10.5cm, scored at 14.8cm
Lemon Lime Twist Layer 14 x 9.4cm
Whisper White Layer 13.5 x 8.9cm
Scraps of Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist and Vellum

To order any of the products used to make my project, go to my SHOP NOW button on the side bar which will take you to my online store.

INTERNATIONAL BLOG HIGHLIGHTS: WEDDINGS

Today I am joining in with the International Blog Highlights. The theme this time is: WEDDING.

Weddings are often an elegant occasion, so with this in mind my main focus is gold embossing.

The medallion is from the Moroccan Nights stamp set, which is the focal point for both my card and curvy keepsake box.

The sentiment for this card "You're Invited" is made from letters in the Brushwork Alphabet, embossed in gold on vellum. I used some gold circles from the Metallic Enamel Shapes to add a little bling to the sentiment.

The thank you favour uses the same stamp from Moroccan Nights, heat embossed in gold and then cut out using the Curvy Keepsake Box thinlits. The "thank you" sentiment on the box is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set.

Please note that the 2017 Retirement list was released yesterday. The Moroccan Nights stamp set and the Curvy Keepsake Box thinlits are both in this list. If you are wanting to purchase either of these items, you need to get in quick as they are only available while stocks last. Go to my shop to purchase them now.

Thanks for joining me today, if you love my project please vote for my projects here. If I am lucky enough to be in the top 10, I will be asked to join an International Blog Hop.

Crazy Crafters' March Blog Hop- New Saleabration Products

It's a long weekend here in Melbourne. This means an extra day of family time, with maybe a little crafting thrown in.

A few days ago Stampin' Up! released four new free Sale-a-bration products! These will only be available until the end of March and are available for free with each purchase of $90 or more. This months Crazy Crafters theme, centres around these new items.

New products are always exciting. These ones are also such fun to use and so pretty. I will have to get at least one more order in between now and the end of sale-a-bration so I can get my hands on some more of the pretty vellum. Sheer perfection vellum is my new favourite out of all of the saleabration items. I can see so many different uses for it.

Here is my first play with the gorgeous stamp sets and some of the vellum.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop.
