With so many different types of card folds out there, my to-do list is amazingly long. Screen cards were huge on the internet last year and I have finally got around to making my first one. Better late than never they say.
Here is my first screen card which uses Touches of Texture.
My screen card has four sections which are all 7cm wide. This allows for the opportunity to have multiple pictures.
Thank you for joining me today,
Rosalie

INSPIRED BY ALASKA BLOG HOP
Today I have an amazing opportunity for you. I am taking part in the Aim for Alaska Blog Hop and I would like you to join me.
What is Aim for Alaska, you may ask? Aim for Alaska is an amazing training and support group for Stampin' Up! demonstrators, run by Kylie Bertucci. One of the amazing opportunities that Stampin' Up! provide their demonstrators is the ability to earn a trip each year. The current trip we are striving for is a trip to Alaska!
When I think about Alaska I think of the crystal blue waters, the amazing green trees and the pure white sparkly snow. With this in mind, this is what I made.
You may wonder how I made my background. The answer is emboss resist. I used the splatter stamp from Touches of Texture and clear embossed. I then used sponge daubers to add colour.
These are the colours I used in the background.
I then stamped the ship from the Traveler stamp set in smoky slate on some vellum and cut it out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The image reminds me of a cruise ship.
I then added a few metallic enamel shapes to finish it off.
Thanks for joining me. I hope you enjoy the rest of the blog hop.

PICTURE PERFECT FLOWERS
My lovely friend Ruth Trice from Artful Stampin (a UK demonstrator) recently made a beautiful card using the Picture Perfect stamp set. It inspired me to make this card.
I love the triple stamping that is involved with making these flowers. You get to build your image using ink and the stamps in the set.
The background piece was created using the Touches of Texture stamp set. I used a few of the stamps in this set to build up the background until I was happy with the texture and colour that it created.
Thanks for stopping by,
Rosalie

TOUCHES OF TEXTURE
Touches of Texture - I love using this stamp set so much. The combination of background splatter and lovely images make it so easy and fun to use.
I used a Pool Party and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers to colour the petals on the flowers.

WITH A LITTLE RIBBON
Stamp sets can be used in so many different ways, all giving you a different look. For this card I heat embossed in White and then used my stamps from the touches of texture stamp set. Each stamp slowly built up the image I was looking for.
I used Flirty Flamingo, Night of Navy and Tempting Turquoise, to produce the back ground I was after. Once I had done all my stamping, I then used the Tempting Turquoise Stampin' Write Marker to colour the petals of the flower.

TEXTURES FOR YOU
I have some wonderful news I would like to share with you all. Last month a wonderful lady, Charlotte, took the opportunity during Sale-a-Bration to join my team.
During Sale-a-Bration, Stampin' Up! have a joining special. Not only do you choose $235 worth of products of you choice for $169, but you also choose two FREE stamp sets up to the total value of $179.
Today I made this card for Charlotte as a welcome to my team.
This is the first time I have used Touches Of Texture stamp set (143251). The set consists of 15 stamps. Many of the stamps are used to make texture rather than just images. The set can be used in many ways to create so many different looks. I think I am going to enjoy using this one - the uses seem endless.
I love how this cute little bee turned out. I stamped him using memento black ink and then coloured his body using a Crushed Curry Stampin' Write marker. I then used a clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add just a touch of glitter to the wings on the bee and the centre of the flowers.
Thank you for stopping by,
Rosalie
