CRAZY CRAFTERS BLOG HOP WITH ALISON SOLVEN

Welcome once again to a Crazy Crafters Blog Hop. This time we are CASEing (Copy And Selectively Edit) any project that has been created by Alison Solven. Alison inspired me to use some of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut Specialty Paper and create this card.

 Here is Alison's project that I CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit).

I teamed the Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut Specialty Paper with the Very Vintage stamp set and the Petal Pink ribbon from the Metallic Ribbon Combo to create my card. I used sponge daubers to add colour to the Specialty Paper using Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst and Powder Pink.

PRETTY LITTLE WOOD WORDS

Every now and then I like to do something a little different with my cards.

This time I cut the front a little shorter than the back and then punch out a part shape using the pretty label punch. I then punched out a pretty label in Daffodil Delight card stock and added a hand cut images saying "hello friend" from Wood Words on top.

The front panel was decorated with the floral image from Wood Words, coloured with Stampin' Write markers. I hand cut a few flowers from this image so I could pop them out using dimensionals.

Measurements:

Calypso Coral Card Base 29.6 x 10.5cm, scored at 14.8cm then 2.5cm cut off the front
Whisper White Layer 11 x 9.4cm
Inside Layer 11 x 9.4cm
Delightful Daisy DSP 2 x 9.4cm
Scraps of Whisper White and Daffodil Delight

ESAD 2017/18 Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek Blog Hop

I hope you are enjoying all the fantastic projects in the ESAD 2017/18 Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek Blog Hop.

One of the amazing things about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is being able to purchase some items from the new 2017-2018 Catalogue early. There are so many wonderful products to choose from, it was hard to decide what to share with you today.

You may have come from the wonderful                   or be starting the hop here with me, Rosalie Desmond.

Here are couple of cards that I would love to share with you today using the Daisy Delight Bundle and the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper.

This first card was made as a thank you card for one of my lovely customers. She is such a special lady and I wanted her to have the opportunity to see first hand the wonderful paper and stamped images from the Delightful Daisy Suite. The Designer Series Paper is the star of this card and I teamed it up with some layers of Night of Navy and Calypso Coral. The "Thank you" sentiment and the flower image are both from the brand new Daisy Delight Stamp Set, which can either be purchased individually or as a bundle with the Daisy Punch.

For this second card I used the Softly Fallen Embossing Folder to create some texture on the Calypso Coral card stock. I then matted some Designer Series Paper with some Night of Navy card stock. The card was then topped off with a daisy stamped and punched. For this card I chose not to put a sentiment on it, so it can be used for any purpose.
