GO FOR GREECE BLOG HOP AUGUST 2018

Today I am joining the Go For Greece Blog Hop. In this hop, lots of lovely members of the Go For Greece Training Group have joined forces to inspire you.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Rosalie Desmond or may have come from the person previous to me. Be sure to click on the person listed under me further down the page to continue your journey on this blog hop.

While this card design is simple, I also find it very elegant. Due to the sentiment "Amazing You" this card can be used for a variety of occasions.

I love to stretch my stamp sets and look outside the norm. I have done this with Hold On To Hope set. This set is a religious set which is very useful for projects that are for occasions such as Baptisms, Christenings, Confirmations or Sympathy. By simply using a different sentiment, in this case die cuts from Celebrate You thinlit set, I  have been able to use some of the images to create a heat embossed background.

For more details on how to make this card, please check out my video.

This card design would work with any card stock colour.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you find lots of inspiration,

Rosalie

  6. Hey, Rosalie, I loved your video, and Embossing is one of my favourite techniques especially when using the gold embossing powder. Both of your cards look very elegant. It is lovely to see a less popular stamp set used.

  7. Great cards Rosalie the colour choices with the gold embossing look fantastic what a great tip about "stretching" your stamp sets its true we often tend to keep to stamps from their own stamp set maybe we will use a sentiment but this has opened my eyes up to a lot of possibilities so thank you.
