Craftroom Makeover - Part Two

As you may know from Friday's post, I am currently fixing up my craft area.

I have been doing a little creating to decorate my space. Today's project is a small vase with some paper flowers. The vase was originally clear, so I added paint to the inside to give it my desired colour. I used the same paint that I used on the box on Friday.

The paper flowers were made using two sizes of scallop punch and inking the edges in Bermuda Bay.

This little vase gives me a little pop of colour in my area, and I don't have to remember to add water to keep the flowers alive.

Congratulations On Your Engagement!

Not so long ago we had some wonderful news, my nephew Andrew got engaged to the lovely Laura. Now I wanted something elegant but simple, so instantly black and white came to mind.

I needed to leave heaps of room to write, so just added a little something to one corner.

Another sketch challenge- this time for Aussie Crafters

Once more I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try something new. This time the challenge was designed by a different group, Aussie Crafters.

I have only just recently joined the Aussie Crafters Facebook group. This group is open to people from Australia who do all types of craft. They have a new swap, challenge and sketch each month. They are open to every level of crafters from beginners to advanced. I have found it a great place to get inspiration. Every person has their very own way of crafting, so this is exposing me to so many different styles.

This was the sketch for February.

This was my entry for this challenge. It was certainly very different from my normal creations.
