Love warms my heart - #GDP019

I don't tend to make many lovey cards unless there is an occasion, but today was different. All of a sudden I started thinking about the sheltering tree stamp set. Then I thought about card that I made last year using the butterflies from the perpetual birthday calendar set, and thought - the love hearts would make a change from the leaves of the tree.

This is what I came up with.

One of the things I love about card making and paper craft is that there is no rule to say that everything must be lifelike. So shades of blue heart shaped images is fine to use in place of leaves.

And what's love without a little glitter. I used the clear Wink of Stella Brush to add a little sparkle to the heart.

So why a love theme twice in one week? Well, I was still inspired by this week's theme from Global Design Project. So this is my second entry. I hope you take the time to check out all the other lovely entries and maybe you may even join in next week.

    1. Thanks Shawn. I love the perpetual birthday calendar stamps, there are a few choices. I made one with butterflies for leaves last year and it was very popular.
