Crazy Crafters Blog Hop - Theme: My Most Used Stamp Set

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for November. This month we are excited to show off our "Most used stamp sets". We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Rosalie Desmond or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup towards the bottom, will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

This months blog hop is even extra exciting as we have a guest stamper joining us - Brain King!!!! He is a totally amazing stamper. Even before I joined Stampin' Up! I stalked his blog and learnt so much. Thank you Brian for sharing your lovely creations for all to see and take inspiration from. It is a privilege for him to be joining us today. A huge thank you goes out to Kylie Bertucci for setting this up for the Crazy Crafters.

My Most Used Stamp Set - this is actually a hard one as a number of sets get a pretty heavy workout at my place. Wetlands, Gorgeous Grunge, Flowering Flourishes and Sassy Salutations all tend to feature heavily in one form or another.

But currently my most used stamp set is - Sheltering Tree. I love both the images and the sentiments in this stamp set. Sometimes I will make a card only using this set and other times I will combine it with other stamp sets to create my project.

This first card uses no sentiments at all, so can be used for any occasion.

I wanted to give the tree a little pop, so I added some leaves which I heat embossed in silver.

As I already had the stamp set out I decided to make a second card with a slightly different look.

The banner has been bent to give it a wave effect. I used stampin' dimensionals to support it in the raised areas.

    1. Thank you for stopping by Jennifer. I love Rose Red, but it tends to be a forgotten colour in my craft room. I must remember to bring it out to play more often.
