Be inspired on the 25th of every month with our Christmas Challenge.

Our aim is to make Christmas crafting less stressful by doing a little each month throughout the year. If you choose to join in, not only will you be ahead on your Christmas craft but you will also be in the running to win a prize towards the end of the year. All crafting levels are encouraged to apply. Winners are chosen at random. There will be one major winner from each market. The more months you complete the challenge, the more entries you will have!

This month's theme is Foldable Christmas Gift Bags. You may wonder why have we specifically said "foldable". The answer is easy - to make it easier for you to store them for the next 8 months. While we are all trying to get ahead on our crafting, we also want our projects to fit in a small box or container until we need them in December.

These foldable gift bags are so easy to make and use one piece of designer series paper 8.5" X 12" to make and then you decorate them.

MEASUREMENTS:

1 piece of 8.5" x 12" designer series paper
Score at 1/2", 4 1/2", 5 3/8", 6 1/4", 10 1/4" and 11 1/8"

Turn and score at 1 1/2"

The bags are decorated using the detailed star from the Starlight thinlits cut from gold foil paper, the sentiment is from the Star Light stamp set, embossed in gold, the oval is cut from Very Vanilla cardstock and the strip is a 2" x 4" piece of Fresh Fig card. For both of these bags I used DSP from the Eastern Palace pack.

If you would like to join us in the challenge or would like some inspiration from other people's entries, you will find the Christmas Challenge Stampaton 2018 on facebook.

Happy crafting,
Rosalie
