INK & INSPIRATION BLOG HOP - MASCULINE

Today I am participating in the Ink & Inspiration Design Team Blog Hop. This months theme is : Masculine. You are currently visiting Rosalie Desmond from Australia.

Many people struggle with masculine projects, I know I often do. Colours can have a huge impact on a project and change it from being girlie to being gender neutral or more masculine.  For my card today I chose Island Indigo, Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight. I used the background die from the Eclectic Layers Thinlits to create a mask. I then used sponge daubers and ink from the three colours to create the background.

The scene was stamped with an image from Mediterranean Moments using Black Memento Ink and coloured with Stampin' Write markers. Then cut out with second largest oval from the Oval framelits.

To finish it off I added three 1/2" circles cut out of Pacific Point card stock on dimensionals and added a Daffodil Delight enamel dot to each one.

Measurements:

Island Indigo Card Base 29.6 x 10.5cm, scored at 14.8cm
Whisper White Layer 9.5 x 13.8cm
Scraps of Whisper White and Pacific Point cardstock

Products:

Mediterranean Moments (143191)
Eclectic Layers Thinlits (143774)
Oval Framelits (141706)
1/2" Circle Punch (119869)
Brights Enamel Shapes (141680)
