Washi Wednesday #3

Wednesday is certainly coming around fast these days. Welcome once again to my Washi Wednesday series.

This time I used a mat piece of card stock and covered it with Moroccan Designer Washi Tape to create an interesting background.

I then used the Perfectly Wrapped stamp set for my sentiment "Happy Day". I often use a sentiment that can be used for many different occasions as it makes cards a little more versatile. I used the Tags & Labels Framelits to lift the sentiment off the background.

Today's project has also been entered into the current The Papers Players Challenge #332

For very $90 you spend you receive a FREE item from the exclusive Sale-a-Bration catalogue. These products can not be purchased, but must be earned during the Sale-a-Bration period. You earn one item for every $90 you spend. So if you spend $90 - you can choose 1 FREE item, if you spend $180 - you choose 2 FREE items. I think you get the idea. The more you spend, the more FREE items you receive.

  1. What a great way to use washi tape for a clean and simple but still elegant card! Love it... thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

  2. Amazing background for such bold and simple sentiment. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing your card at Paper Players!

  3. Love your use of washi tape. I can't seem to get the knack of using it and envy those that can!! Thanks for playing along with us at The Paper Players.

    1. I tend to be a washi collector, rather than a washi user. I'm trying to change that. My moto for 2017 is if you've got it, use it!
